Using Verizon.net on Samsung Galaxy phone
« on: January 06, 2015, 08:27:50 pm »
AT&T Samsung phone does not support Verizon email. A clever AT&T tech set me up with Aquamail, which has worked perfectly until a few weeks ago. Now I cannot send outgoing mail on my account. Error: outgoing server doesn't recognize me. Incoming mail is fine. What to do?

Maybe it's this one?

The recent versions of AquaMail already have this workaround built-in, are you at version 1.5.1?

Or maybe Verizon broke something else this time?

You are welcome to capture the issue in a debug log with "raw session data"  (see my signature) ... and I'll be happy to take a look.

Made the change. Still got an error message, Bad username or password, when sending a message. Reentered the password. I have version 1.5.1.12. Anything else I can try? Hope so!
