Read Receipt Confirmations

I have an issue for an exchange account that i have set up in aquamail  that automatically sends a read receipt if the email sender requests one when it is read in aquamail. If I read the mail in Outlook (on computer or on web), the read receipt confirmation is not sent. It is only sent when message is read in Aquamail.

I do not see any settings in Aquamail to turn off the sending of read receipt confirmations.

Does anyone know how to stop this function?

Hello,

Aqua does not have a feature to send read request responses, for Exchange or otherwise (IMAP / POP3).

Could the mail server (Exchange) doing it automagically?

If i read the mail on Outlook 2013 or in the exchange web app, i do not get the read receipt response. It only happens if i read the mail in Aqua.

Hmm. Well, I know there is simply no code to do this in Aqua.

Is the account configured in Aqua as EWS or IMAP?
