Hello,
I'm using Aqua Mail Pro version with 3 IMAP Accounts. I'm French and it's maybe important because of translation problem, i'm not shure.
I want to synchronize deletion of message as I do with my two computers on this 3 accounts. I'm using Thunderbird on computers. When I delete a message it just goes to the "Trash" Folder called in French "Corbeille".
With Aqua Mail, it just doesn't work, and I don't understand why.
First of all, when I select the "Trash" (In english) folder in folder parameters as "Synchroniser avec [ Corbeille ]", it says it won't appears on the global box, but it appears ! (same for the 3 accounts).
Secondly, I setup the parameters to move the message to the "[ Corbeille ]". When I do that :
- The message is deleted in Aqua Mail (I don't know where it goes...)
- The message don't go to the trash folder of the account
- The message is still on the INBOX folder on my computers and online
All IMAP accounts are in "Push Mode".
When I delete a message online or on my computer, Aqua Mail is well updated.
I don't understand if the "[ Corbeille ]" is a virtual box regrouping all the trash folder ?
It's a very annoying problem as It doesn't synchronize deletions and I can't properly delete messages in Aqua Mail by saving them in the Trash Folder.
If you need screenshots to help understand the issue, I can upload them on the forum.
Thanks for your help !
Denis.

Hi,
First off, in Thunderbird, please enable "mail.imap.expunge_after_delete" options: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Deleting_messages_in_IMAP_accounts
Second, I need a debug log from AquaMail that captures you moving a message to [ Deleted ] ( [ Corbeille ] ), with "raw data" enabled.

Hello,
I managed to fix the problem. I removed all my 3 IMAP accounts, deleted cache and add again the 3 accounts and it creates the [Corbeille], [Brouillon] for all 3 accounts.
Now all deleted messages are going to the trash correctly. I think my accounts were created with a very old version of Aquamail and it brought some problem.
Thanks again for this wonderful app !
Denis.

Great, glad to hear it.
Just for the record - the app uses the IMAP XLIST extension (when the server supports it) to set up the mapping for Drafts / Sent / Deleted.
