Title: Cannot add email address *@address.co.uk

I have a default email address beginning with an asterix * with format *@address.co.uk  ,  but when I try to add this account with aqua mail I get an error message "Please enter your email"
This is on the New Account: Simple Setup screen

Is that a valid email address, really?

Yes this is absolutely a valid email address.  My ISP allows the use of * for all non-specified email addresses to a particular domain.  I use it to collect replies to single-use addresses
