Title: Explanation of connections Aqua makes and why there isn't a way to disable them?

Recently started running an app that shows the connections being made and discovered all the ones Aqua is making just from opening the app. 

I understand analytics and all, but I have the option turned off for usage statistics/crash reports.

20+ connections just seems excessive and I really wish they could be disabled without me having to block them with the hosts file (disabled the block to get the screenshots). 

I'm guessing this is all "allowed" under 9.3 in the Privacy Policy.
