I ran Aqua mail quite a long time with an smime certificate that recently got invalid but I did not nitice this immedeately. Then I got a warning about smime and added a fresh and valid smime cert which I activated.
My Problem is that since I sent the invalid smime signed mail I always get a warning message when looking for new mail telling me "Failed to send smime message" even when no mail was sent. In the account overview under the acounts email-address I now permanently see a red message "!19 December at 06.08" which probably was the day when I sent the signed mail with the old cert.
The drafts folder is empty but still there a smime-related messages that are annoying. You always thing something went wrong.
What can I do to get rid of this warning message?
Running on a Samsung S22, One UI-Version 6.1, Andoid-Version14
Thanks for your help

I helped myself now by saving the whole config, uninstalling AquaMail and then reinstall it on my mobile and restore the configuration. In the last step I added the new cert again. It seem the old cert in certmanager was somehow broken, at least I was unable to remove it manually from Aqua Mails cert store. The new cert could be removed easily. I tried before uninstalling the app.
However it should not be a problem if a cert becomes invalid, so that you have to reinstall Aqua Mail to get it running again.
Thanks
