Title: Rules for colors/notifications

Hi

There have been requests back in 2013 and 2014 but nothing recent, so I thought I'll bring it up again. Especially since I just set up some rules in Outlook for notifications that I wanted to set up in Aqua Mail but couldn't.

For me it was rules based on sender/header/body that would allow to color the e-mail(s) in the list so it's easy to find specific e-mail notifications.
Others also asked for specific notification tones based on rules and you could even integrate Priority Notifications on senders but only with specific body content or e-mail priority to allow for certain urgent notifications to always come through.

These suggestions have been on our radar in the past, but implementing such advanced filtering and notification features requires significant development resources to maintain compatibility across the diverse email protocols and services Aqua Mail supports.
