Title: Contact Images - still dont get it

Hello,

I am still wondering where the contact images from an email sender are getting pulled from, when you have no image in your contacts. I asked a few senders, where they did place their image (gravatar eg.), so that it appears in my list. And they don´t know either. My own "image" appears with one big letter, like in the time, where contact images where pulled from your own adressbook.

Hello Gartenblume,

I understand your concern. The avatars displayed in Aqua Mail are sourced from Clearbit and Gravatar, which provide images associated with email addresses. Unfortunately, we don't have control over which images are displayed. However, these avatars are updated once a week. You can always go to their websites, create/sign an email and upload a picture yourself.

Hi Martin,

Any specific preference between the 2 Aquamail uses? I've created my profile on Gravatar, will it be necessary to create one for Clearbit as well?

Hi Fi5kaal,

Since you've already created a profile on Gravatar, it shouldn’t be necessary to create one on Cleabit.
