Title: Change buttons in message view

My phone updated Aquamail Pro from version 1.17.0-1324 to  1.27.0-1705 and now regret it deeply.

I use unread/read emails to keep track of a lot of emails what needs attention and not in my company. The problem is that in the new version there's is previous/next buttons which I absolutely want to remove these as it is very easy to accidentally leave messages as read. How can I customize and remover these buttons like in the old version?

Or if it's not possible, how can I revert the version?

This is exactly why I never allow automatic updates. Not on my phone apps, not on my Windows OS, not on anything.

Hello,

The buttons are going to be enabled when you update if you had them previously enabled. You can disable those buttons. Please navigate to Settings -> Swiping -> Enable/Disable Show icons too
If your options are greyed out tap on "In message view" to enable it and disable the Enable/Disable Show icons too.

That kind of worked but I don't want to have swiping enabled. When I disable swiping the bloody previous/next message buttons comes back again...
