I've searched thru the threads and can't find anything that addresses this but I'm trying to shutoff the almost full screen popup notification as an email sends. It's obnoxious and not necessary since it can send in the background without giving me a real time status. I like just a toast notifying me of failure only. Attached is an example. Thanks in advance for any help.

You can disable 'Toast messages" in the Settings > Look and feel > scroll down to the bottom and uncheck this item

Thanks for the response. Yeah I tried disabling toast but I still get the screen-filling "sending email" popup. I don't understand why the developers insist on it.

Hi,
The issue will be fixed in version 1.18. At the moment this version is released for 50% of the users randomly picked by Google Play. You can find it here

@mrbback
Since I had already installed version 1.18, the option mentioned above already worked for me. Unfortunately, I didn't know that you are still at 1.17. 8)
