Title: Inbox randomly listing duplicate mails
Post by: Nigelmay on November 15, 2018, 08:57:30 pm
AM 1.17.0-1324 Pro, Samsung S7 Edge. In the last couple of days my Inbox has started listing duplicates of the mails - sometimes all of them, sometimes just one or two. If I delete one of the duplicated mails, the other one is also deleted, but only one appears in the trash folder. I then restore it to the inbox and carry on. It's definitely an AM issue, it doesn't happen with K-9 on the phone or Thunderbird on the PC.

Any settings in Mail, Receiving I should check and possibly change? I have enabled Debug Logging, so that should be available if wanted.

Well where is the account?

Have you tried removing the account from the app and adding it back to see if it goes away?

If not - I'll ask for a debug log the captures the app actually receiving such duplicates and when you send the log, I'll also need to know when it happened.

( you have to send log files to us, just enabling them doesn't mean we know who you are and can connect to your phone remotely... we don't and we can't )

The log needs to have "raw session data" enabled.

Thanks, I'll remove and reinstall the account as a first step. If it still keeps happening I'll enable debug logging again and make a note of the date and time when it happens.
