Hi,
The writing using S Pen is possible in recipients and object space, not in message area...
Thanks (https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20181029/1459be4f79a2138d25d7354ae10c3cb8.jpg)

A Google issue.
The compose area uses Google Chrome - yes strange but true - and Google / Samsung must not have integrated the right way (or at all).
I expect that Gmail app (and others too) should be the same.
You can
- Turn off Aqua Mail settings -> composing and sending -> new message editor
- Contact Google
- Contact Samsung

Re: Disabling new text editor or formatted text I can hand write but I lost my html signature
Well there is always a price :)
We are not able to "carry" text formatting both ways - from old to new and from new to old editor.
We can "carry" it over once from "old" editor to "new" editor, but not back.
Why don't you talk to Samsung about it? The S-Pen is their exclusive technology, don't they want it to "just work" in "all" apps?

This is a setting in Android. my S-pen allows use EVERY WHERE I CAN TYPE in ANY app, except games. Try playing around with the OS settings some more. Also the pen-detect settings. I found that disabling the cheap pen that came with the tablet, and setting Android to always assume the pen is active, and turning on active feedback, fixed a lot of the problems with the pen. Also, get yourself a real pen-sized pen and forget about the tiny crappy one that comes with the device.
