Hi there. A bit of a problem. I bought Aqua mail to overcome the disappearance of emails from other apps.
I am working with Google Pixel 2. I have successfully installed a gmail account. But as my principal mail server is Bigpond.com, I have been trying to get that to work, but with no success. Naturally Bigpond.com is not listed on the Pixel 2 as a native server, but I have overcome that minor problem on many other systems. Unfortunately, I am unable to find a solution with Aqua mail.
The actual set up process works SOMETIMES, but it is unpredictable and usually fails on restarting Aqua mail. On one Bigpond installation the app got to downloading about 20 historical emails, from 2016 (I use that account every day), but would do nothing else.
Usually the app reaches the Checking point and just times out.
Can you assist me please?

2. Same problem continues. It seems that no Bigpond accounts will function correctly. The setup processes go through fine, but it seems email name and port numbers either change by themselves to something unworkable, or fail completely.
3.Results are:
Account Error Check
Incoming mail server (IMAP): Login Error. NO invalid user name or password
OR
outgoing mail server (SMTP): Login error 535 invalid user ID or password

Hey mate
Not sure what settings you are using but when I setup bigpond emails I always use the following settings and doesn't appear to have a problem
I always setup email manualy
setup as IMAP email
incoming: imap.telstra.com
Security type: SSL
Server Port: 993
Outgoing mail server: smtp.telstra.com
Security type: SSL
Server Port: 465
Hope that helps.

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately it does not work for me. Are you using a Google Pixel 2 phone?
What I get is as I showed below.
Does anyone have experience with the Pixel 2?

I am using a pixel one.
You error message suggests the username and password may be incorrect. Make sure you are using your full email address.

As Username enter your full email - for example:

user@bigpond.net.au
... and your password.
