Whenever I'm using AM away from wifi I often have problems replying to mails as it needs to download the whole message before allowing the reply. This is an issue where...
- you have some stupid business html email thread that has been replied to hundreds of times and so each message can be 1MB+ (and you are on a slow connection and/or may be on expensive roaming data)
- you have intermittent network coverage (eg on a train/plane) so you can read a message that came in previously but can't write your reply because it gets stuck on dowloading the whole message.
Is there any way to avoid these issues eg by allowing a reply with the current partial message info?

Well there is a setting for "Actions with incomplete messages" in app settings under "message view" - which will prompt you, but only if there was a network error (so won't help with slow network connections, sorry).

Thanks very much, I hadn't found that setting - that solves the problem of replying with no network. And it provides a work-around for replying to the large emails with slow data - just put the phone in aeroplane mode and compose the reply using only the partial message data - better than nothing.
Thanks.
