Hello all. Sorry if I'm asking a question which has already been addressed, but a forum search didn't come up with anything.
Is there anyway to stop AquaMail from interpreting emails you're writing (and which are auto-saved in your Draft(s) folder) as newly received mails?
If I'm in the middle of writing a mail, the phone will beep when the draft is saved as it thinks that I've just received a new message, which is annoying when I then look at the phone and realise it's just the draft I'm writing! >:(
Nothing obvious stands out in the various settings options, so I've been changing various settings, but I'm at a loss so far... ???
TIA.

Weird, it shouldn't be doing this - notifications only look at messages in incoming type folders...
Do you actually get a notification, from Aqua Mail, at the top of the screen when "the phone beeps"? If not it has to be something else.

Hi.
Yes, I do get notification at the top of the screen.
However, what I failed to mention was that I can't seem to equate AquaMail's Draft folder with Yahoo's own Drafts folder, so to AquaMail, I guess it just appears as a normal folder...
How can I do this, or does it depend on the email service you're using?
Thanks,
ivan.

Oh so you save drafts in Yahoo Web Mail, they're unread, and so Aqua Mail syncs them and notifies?
You're right - Aqua needs to know that this server folder is "special" - your Drafts folder.
Please
- Long press on the account on the app's main screen
- Options and folders -> Folders
- Wait 10-30 seconds for the app to refresh the folder list
- Find "the" Drafts folder ("Draft Messages", just "Drafts", or whatever Yahoo calls it, I forget...)
- Tap its name, choose "Sync as Drafts".
You may want to check Sent and Deleted as well while you're on that screen.
