+ Message auto-fit can be reverted (canceled) for just that one message with Menu -> View -> Revert Auto-Fit
+ All new text editor on the compose screen (Android 6.0+, needs WebView 60 from June 2017 or newer).
Limitations: dark theme is not supported (the editor is always white), maybe others I'm forgetting right now :)
---

I suggest that you make double tap (in message view) enable "Revert Auto-fit" ? This would be much easier than having to access this feature deeply inside context menu.
We'll think about it :) It's just that double tap is already intercepted by WebView itself - to zoom in / out.
Thanks for the translation.

Small bug in latest Version when using Black/Amoled skin? (https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180208/cd273878df99c50d4a54b42db02030f5.jpg)

Limitations: dark theme is not supported (the editor is always white)
Is this something that will change with further development?
If not, is there any way of reverting to a white text/black background editor?

Very unlikely.
Re: If not, is there any way of reverting to a white text/black background editor?
Yes you can turn off the new editor in app settings -> composing and sending.
