Title: Temporarily Disable an Account
Post by: phred on October 15, 2017, 06:38:57 pm
There are times when I would like to temporarily disable one or more email accounts. Is there any way of doing this without actually deleting the account?

If not, I'd like this to be considered a feature request. I envision it being implemented with a check-box for each account that allows the account to be disabled or enabled. And the account that's disabled being grayed out on the account list. Perhaps also a check-box for -all- accounts.

Thanks.

Hi,

Please long press on the account in the main window (account list) and go to Special Settings>Night and Weekends and make the desired changes.

If the intent is to turn off sync (so the account does not check mail) then please:

- Long press on the account on the app's main screen -> options and folders -> account options

- Turn off "push mail" and "scheduled mail checks"

( Nadia had it almost right )

Perfect! Thank you both. Although I will admit Nadejda's method seem a bit convoluted.
