Hi
Has anyone else been experiencing Aquamail Pro behaving oddly since last update.
I have several different email addresses and previously when an email arrived and was unread, if I opened Aqualmail Pro, the account with the unread message would be expanded showing the folders, so I could see at a glance which email accounts had unread messages.
Now, that no longer happens, folders are closed. There is an unread message counter, but folders used to open.
Also, notifications are behaving oddly too, with notifications for an earlier unread message, rather than the latest to arrive.

Hello,
To fix the problem, please go to Settings -> Account list>Expand account and make the desired changes.
Thank you,
Nadia

Thanks for the reply, but I have already tried disabling/enabling Expand accounts (all all options - None, All, With unread messages ) rebooting, then disabling/enabling numerous times, nothing has worked.
I have also tried:
Disabled notifications/enabled notifications
Changed Notify about: All unread messages / New unread messages
Disable/enable Two panel UI.
Nothing is returning Aquamail Pro to its normal state.
Folders do not expand nor does Aquamail give correct notification for new email just arrived. It gives a notification for an email not read hours or even a day earlier, which is annoying.
Have you any other suggestions I could try that will sort the issue. I have downloaded other email apps: Outlook, Nine and all give notifications correctly, but lack the two panel interface
Thanks in advance

Are you using two panel mode?
And have the app set to start in smart folder (or use the smart folder widget to launch it)?
If so please try the latest 1.12-dev version, from the "development builds" section.
There was a regression for this specific case and it was fixed (but not yet released).

Other than that -
1.11 had another change where the app now preserves the state of expanded / collapsed folders if you run it after "minimizing" with the Home button.
This is actually how Android apps are supposed to behave since Home does not "exit" an app only "hides" it.
So to summarize:
- Please try updating to the current 1.12-dev
- Please be sure to really exit the app by using the Back button and not Home
