I am relatively new to Aquamail, I moved from Bluemail. I bought the Pro version to support the development and I was generally very happy. I have it installed in a WIFI only Samsung S2 tablet and S7 phone. Then I realized this thing is using lots of data. S7 used 2GB since Oct 3rd, tablet used 10G since almost a month. That is a lot for an email application, I am not sure whether it is a bug or not. But I did not see this with Bluemail (with similar settings)
I am using 5 min mail check, push and 50 messages synched. I have 2 accounts one is the corporate Exchange the other one gmail (IMAP).
Please help, I love the app otherwise, but data usage is a showstopper :( :( :(

Understand.
First Aqua and Type Mail operate on entirely different principles - not that it should make much difference to you as a user, but ;)
Does the Exchange account have push enabled?
Could you as a test turn that off? ( long press on its on the app's main screen -> options and folders -> account options ) to see if it makes a difference?
Also feel free to capture the issue in the app's debug log (linked below) with "raw session data" turned *on* in debug settings?
With the log enabled, please refresh the account or just inbox, maybe 2-3 times, waiting to finish each time. Then send the log file to support / at / aqua-mail / dot com.
Thanks!
