Aquamail pro unlocker keeps crashing and had issue when installing from google play on Note 8. I had to clear google play cache and finally can get through. However it will crash again when I try to put in secure folder.

If you run into a crash:
Crashes are automatically recorded in a crash log, called log-AquaMail-crash.txt and located at the root of your device’s memory card.
Please send it as an attachment to support / at sign / aqua-mail / dot com .
This file does not contain any logins or passwords or message text.

I couldn't find the log file you mentioned. Will the unlocker generate log file when crash? My issue is the unlocker not the Aquamail program.

You don'tneed to run the unlocker. Just install it and run Aquamailas usual. It should be "pro" at that point. (The latest -dev version may have somewhat behavior.)

The crash happened when google play doing the installation. After clearing the cache and download again it will go through. But it will happen again when you want to add to secure folder (at this stage it will do the similar install process I think).

You need to run the unlocker app just once.

Understood. What I meant to say Google play run or check for second time when i added to secure folder. I did not run it manually.

1 - Installing the Unlocker is only necessary if you purchased the Unlocker specifically.
The newer versions of the app use InApp purchasing - so it's not necessary to install the unlocker.
2 - Not sure what "the secure folder" is, and why you'd want to do that, could you please clarify?
3 - As for the crash log, the unlocker app does not create one.

Thank you for clarification, Kostya. I didn't know that before. Sorry to @dans for any confusion 8)

I see the crash in Google Play Crash Reporting, but not sure about why it's crashing.
Could you - @dans - please try this one:
https://www.aqua-mail.com/download/AquaMailUnlockerMarket-1.0.24-604-dev-f1bd4d1f663d.apk
- It will most likely still crash (no fixes yet)
- But this version should hopefully leave a better crash report for us
As for actually unlocking the app - please send an email to support / at / aqua-mail / dot com, they'll create a "direct" license for you.
Thanks!

Hi Kostya, I did purchase the unlocker separately long time ago before Mobisystems. I didn't know it has changed since then and not sure how to do it I guess. I always download both program & unlocker when change to new phone.
Secure folder is the new name of Knox. For S8/ S8+ and Note 8 are using Secure Folder now where you can have apps in two different environment just like having two phones, one for work the other for personal. eg. two whatsapp, facebook, aquamail, etc.

It's perfectly fine to download the unlocker if you purchased it before - but our latest version can be purchased with InApp. Just wanted to clarify.
Re: Secure / Knox - got it.
I'll keep an eye on new stack traces (crash reports) in Play.
