I'm using last version from store, but this is happening since long ago. I believe it started with the redesign of the header for the compose window.
Whenever I reply to a mail and I try to move contacts between To, Cc and Bcc, I face sometimes a bad behavior. Basically, instead of being able to select a contact email and move it, it shows the address to be edited.
At some point it's impossible to move some contacts whatever I try.
Can this be corrected?
Thanks.

I'm not aware of any changes in that code in a long time.
The "trick" is -- and always been -- to first tap anywhere in the "source" input field, and only then long press on a particular email.
This is how it works in Gmail and how it already was in the code that handles "contact chips" (which I picked up from Android).

Yes, I know, but in some cases it's impossible to move one contact without entering in address edit mode.

Re: some cases
Can you please be more specific what those "some cases" are?
Re: without entering in address edit mode
What is "address edit mode"?
-
Those cases are mostly random but happen when you have many contacts with e-mail address and you try to move some to the CC from the TO.
The procedure is you click on an empty space in the TO field and wait a second. Then try to click and drag one contact but it offers to edit the address instead.
In these cases it's imposible to drag a contact to the CC.
I would try to make a video when I can reproduce it.

Guess what.... I installed an application to record it. Went to do it after reproducing it before the installation. Now I can't reproduce it. :(
So, I really don't know why this happens and so how to avoid it. But might be something I do wrong.
