I have version 1.7.1-88 and purchased pro. About a month ago images in flyer type emails (harborfreight, Costco..) stopped displaying. I have read the relevant FAQs and several identical sounding problems from 2013, 2014 and gone through every setting i can find however this problem persists.
These same emails display properly in outlook on my PC and Gmail on my Nexus 4. In Aqua mail I get empty boxes with URLs in them.
The hours spent trying to fix this are adding up so I am asking for some guidance please.

Those are not embedded, rather linked.
A Samsung phone with a recent "security update" from your mobile operator?
-
Thanks for your reply.
No. The phone is a LG Nexus 4. This began about a month ago however no system or Android updates were installed and I did not change any AQ settings.
Perhaps the sender of these flyer emails changed something in the content but as I said there is no problem on Gmail on this same phone or outlook on a PC.

Gmail pre-fetches linked images to / from their own servers.
Outlook on the PC I suppose is not connected to your mobile data operator.
That being said:
Please forward (as .eml attachments) a couple of sample messages, to support / at / aqua-mail / dot com, we'll try them in Aqua Mail.

I sent a few examples of the problematic emails from outlook after realizing I couldn't do it in AQ.
Since all my email on the phone and the PC comes via the same router (wireless only for the phone and Ethernet to the PC) I can't see how the ISP could affect this. They all come from the same source.
I do not use data on my phone. Wireless only. Mobile data rates in Canada are just stupid expensive. Not enough competition... :-(
Thx -MJM

Didn't see them yesterday, but I'll check again tonight.

Sorry for late reply. I will re-send the attached messages via Outlook again however I am happy to report that yesterday, my Nexus4 decided it was time to install a whole bunch of updates and Aqua Mail (Version 1.8.2-216) was one of them.
This morning I received a message from one of the problem senders and suddenly this new version displays ALL the images as it did before with no help from me. :-)
So the problem is resolved with the update somehow. ??? :)
Thank you!

Hmm.... We released 1.8.2-218 over a month ago.
And I'm not at all sure there were any fixes - since I'm not aware of any actual bugs on our side that could be causing this.
But if it's working now, that good!
