Hi
Everytime I type an mail on my Samsung Galaxy View Tablet the letters jump all over the place rendering the program useless. So to provide you further explanation in the middle of typing a letter a word or letter may mysteriously drop to the next line and or intertwine with the signature file. So if I don't watch closely words or letters jump all over the page which causes me to have to retype most of the email. Its incredibly frustrating. This doesn’t occur on my phone - just my tablet.
Please please please help me
Thank you

What Android version is your tablet running?
If it's fairly old - Android 4 something -- please go into Aqua Mail settings -> Debug (very end) -> enable "Disable GPU" (top checkbox).
-
Andriod version 5.11
Please steer me to the direction where I will find the controls your referring too
Thank you

GPU is in fact disabled. However debugging is UNCHECKED

Re: GPU is in fact disabled.
Please make it so that the top item, labeled "Disable GPU" is checked (has a checkbox on the right).
This sounds like a (fairly old) Android bug that I've seen before, and disabling the GPU (enabling the "Disable GPU") should help.

Hello
I checked the box you he stated and rebooted the tablet. Unfortunately it made no difference. When typing a paragraph.. Some of the letters and words are bouncing to the next line or mixed in with the signature file.
Signed
Frustrated 😊

So weird. I just don't know what to tell you.
The text editor "widget" is provided by Android, all of it, including text entry, word wrap, actual drawing on the screen, etc.
Maybe it's the soft keyboard, can you temporarily switch to a different one?

This issue only occurs on this particular tablet. When using voice to text translation the problem goes away.
NOTE: If I omit the signature file the issue doesn't occur
THANK U

OK, so what's so special about your signature that makes the edit control go crazy?
I'm not saying there is anything *wrong* with it, but you are seeing what you're seeing, so...

Nothing, just my name and phone in text form only. No attachments, no images no nothing

Sorry I really don't know how to help...
The message text editor in Aqua Mail is built on top of Android's built-in text editor.
All actual text layout / word wrap / drawing is done by Android code, not ours. It's possible that you've stumbled into a yet undiscovered bug in that code. All Aqua Mail adds on top of that is formatting (text color, size, etc.).
