Title: New Version Msg List Check Box

The new version this week added a check box next to each email. Older version had same feature appear after holding 1 email to activate or turn on the delete check box.

How do you turn Off the check box next to each email?
I liked the previous version better and didn't waste screen for a check box.  I've looked through settings and can't seem to find where to turn check box off.

On new version so not able. You indicate it hasn't yet been added as a feature. Maybe I'm confusing with other email app but I don't recall this check box in previous version. Thanks for reply.

In the "old" version there was a checkmark next to each message if per-message contact images were turned off. So the only change is the graphics - checkmarks -> checkboxes.

That being said, I just posted a newer build of the 1.8 series where it's possible to turn off both contact images and checkboxes:
