Title: Delete Folders (Exchange)
Post by: p.keller on February 15, 2017, 03:45:42 pm
I created various subfolders in the Inbox-folder of an Exchange account. Later I deleted these folders in the Exchange account. In AquaMail under --> Options and Folders -> Folder they are still present. How can I delete them?
Thanks! Peter (Switzerland)

Please use web mail or desktop Outlook if you use it.

Aqua Mail doesn't have a "delete" for folders (at least for now) -- as a "safety" measure, since there will be people who do it by mistake (no matter how many confirmations we require) and then blame the app for "losing important messages" :)

The folders have been deleted long ago in the Outlook desktop / Webmail - but they are still visible in Aquamail. Is there no way to get this away in Aquamail?

Um, this is strange. What I'd suggest is you remove the account from Aqua Mail and add it back.

And I'm only suggesting this because I just tried to reproduce and wasn't able to (tried deleting both "root" folders and some "deep in the hierarchy", had plenty of both).
