Title: Delete from Aquamail when deleted from POP3 server.
Post by: Evan@Evan-m-Jones.org on February 13, 2017, 11:39:19 pm
hi,

Just rebuilt parts of my phone after massive crash, including re-installing Aquamail and my account.

Prior to my crash I had my Aqamail set so that if the message was deleted on the server (POP3) then it would also be deleted on Aquamail.  How did I do that?  No idea.  But I want to do it again.  So messages stay on the phone unless I delete them on the phone (also deleted on server) or I download them onto may laptop (which deletes them from the server).  I've searched through all the settings but I can't find it.

What did I do a couple of years ago to tell Aquamail to delete inbox messages when they were no longer on the server?

Thanks!

Evan

You will find this option in the Account-specific settings:

-> long press on account name (in the app's main window / Account list view) -> Account options -> enable the item "Remove deleted messages (=  Remove local copies of messages which are no longer on the server)
