Title: Signature Font Family and Size
Post by: Itakfule on December 12, 2016, 03:23:04 pm
I know Arial is not a default Font on Android, but is it possible to use Arial as the Font in the Signature in the Size 10 like on Desktop or alternatively, to copy and paste a HTML Signature or to import a HTML File as Signature?

Hi Itakfule,

Unfortunately at the moment Aqua Mail does not support this feature. You can use rich text and write your signature using colors, bold, italic.

Lol, today i have send me a new Mail from within AquaMail and i have Arial 10 in the Signature... I dont know, where or why this is changed and what i have done, but i ended up with the following code:

Code: [Select]
<span style="font-family: Arial, Myriad, 'Liberation Sans', sans-serif;">
I have no glue, what i have done, but this is what i want (or better a working workaround). Its Ok for me with this signature...

Please try app settings -> composing and sending -> rich vs. plan text -> change the default "auto" to "rich text".

"auto" uses plain text if you're responding to a plain text message and if there is no signature with formatting in it.

So basically it sticks to plain text unless there is "something" which is HTML already.

"rich text" forces rich text / HTML even for new messages or replies to plain text messages.

Another way to force rich text / HTML is to set a signature that has formatting.

No ability to paste pre-cooked HTML, sorry.
