Title: How DEFAULT gmail account for AquaMail only - 2nd account for other mail-app?
Post by: OmarKN on November 25, 2016, 12:06:39 am
Hi and good day,

Samsung Galaxy 5, Android vs. 6.0.1

Everything was fine. I have 2 Gmail accounts, the default account is for AquaMail and the 2nd account was supposed to be for Gmail. (I had the Gmail app deactivated.)

Now I re-activated the Gmail app & as I did not want to mix the 2 accounts, I removed the MAIN account (the default ~) from Gmail app.

But then back in AquaMail:

"Now in AquaMail Pro: Incoming server login error:
Please grant the permission to access email in the account."

QUESTION:
How can I have my DEFAULT gmail account for AquaMail only,
and the 2nd gmail account for the Gmail app only?

The idea was not to mix the two.

Please if you have some creative ideas - much appreciated!

Re: Please grant the permission to access email in the account

Before, when this account was present in the phone's system settings, Aqua Mail was able to ask Google Play Services for access to the account's emails.

Now that it's gone from there, it's necessary to do it (grant the permission, again) in Aqua Mail.

Please tap that error message and the app will walk you though the required procedure. You'll need to log into the account on Google's web site by re-entering the password (Aqua Mail will open it in a window).
