Title: not permitting personal calendar entries to be synced with work Exchange (EWS)
Post by: teckgeek on November 15, 2016, 12:28:48 am
Is there a way that my work calendar entries can be synced to my SGS7 calendar but to not have my personal calendar entries synced with my work Exchange (EWS) calendar? PS. I gain my Calendar updates via the AquaMail Exchange (EWS) account.

Personally, I would use a different calendar entirely.

For example, I often use the "device local" calendar on my personal Samsung phone. Or maybe the Gmail account if it's strictly personal.

But please note that just because AquaMail uploads your events to the Exchange server, it does not mean they're readable by anyone but you (unless there is something really strange going on and they are).

Thanks for the reply Kostya,

I didn't notice that when creating a Calendar entry I can select what Calendar to save it to. Completely a user error but thanks for your reply as I have now also switched off the Samsung Calendar. So many settings to keep your data private but I missed that one.

Thanks again, great product, great service & congratulations on the recent sale!
