When i send a email in either of my accounts my name shows to sender as John dill i want it to show as John Dill. I tried renaming account and even deleting accounts and adding account back with name John Dill but it still shows as John dill.This is not signature i know how to add one of them this is my default name that shows when i send a email. Any suggestions?

Thats what i am doing were it says your name it still stays the same.

I change my name to what it says here in pic and say ok but it still shows as John dill when i send a email to someone.

I understand i will try and change it @ outlook.com my phone browser wont let me change my account settings i will login on a pc and let you know the results. Thank You

Yes Hotmail for years has been rewriting the From header (which has the sender's email and name).
Right now they're migrating everyone to "new servers" and I believe they stopped doing this silliness (which also makes identities / aliases finally work with Hotmail "parent" accounts).
So there are two ways to fix this:
- Fix "your name" in Hotmail settings on their web site
- Or request an more timely migration / update to those new servers (I believe there is supposed to be a button / panel / prompt for this, again on Hotmail web site).
PS - I'm calling Outlook.com "Hotmail", but that's what it is, historically...

My outlook/hotmail has already been migrated.I changed my name at there site did not make any difference.Its something i can live with i really like aguamail.

This is strange. Can you please:
- Send me a test message to kmansoft / gmail so I can check what it looks like on the receiving side?
- Check if you've maybe got an "identity" in this account, with the different spelling of your name? To do that, please long press the account -> identities, are there any?
