Title: Mail arrive alert - I'm really stuck.

I have just got my first Android phone ( Huawei Honor 5X ) and its running .. Android 6.0.1 , and the phone is running .. EMUI 4.0 Theme .

I have now installed the AquaMailPro app , and added 2 of my email addresses ok

I have been through all of the AquaMailPro app settings and all of the Android phone settings , but I cannot get some sort of alert ( sound  / vibration / or the screen coming on ) , to alert me when any emails arrive on the AquaMailPro app .

I am really stuck , can some one please help me  :(

The combination of your phone model (Huawei), Android version (6.x) suggest that you may have at least one, possibly more "battery saving" functions.
If you haven't done so, first add Aquamail to the whitelist/exclusion in all of those.
