You will find some information on the app's FAQ-page:
-> Search for "How do I access server side folders"
(This is one of the top entries)

Hi, thanks for the prompt feedback!
Unfortunately, the Gmail tabs cannot be transferred to Aqua.
Even if I create those gmail tabs as new folders in Aqua, they will be empty.
In the attached pic of Gmail interface, I can configure the blue-framed labels as folders in Aqua but there is no way (to me) to configure/add the red framed ones (tabs) in Aqua.

Hi,
Thanks for your reply / additional explanations.
Unfortunately there is no way to get access to these 'categories' with (IMAP / POP3) since those special "labels" are not provided by Gmail as IMAP folders (as all other Gmail labels do):

To access them via IMAP, in Gmail web interface b settings, under labels, enable which of them to show in IMAP.

The Categories--Promotional, Social, etc--don't have that checkbox. Therefore email clients aren't capable of seeing Gmail's 'categories'. So all your Social, Promotions, Updates, etc will just be shown in the main inbox in any email client.

Mikeone: you are right, my bad. (I am not using those "categories" myself, or any Gmail's "prebuilt" labels (except the standard ones - Sent, Drafts, Spam))

Right, I'm not aware of a way to access these (from a third party mail app). They're even "stranger" than the "special labels" like "All Mail", "Starred" etc.
