Title: Edit compose button in message list

Is it possible to change the 'compose new mail' button in the lower right corner of the message list? I would like to change it to 'Mark All Read'.

To the best of my knowledge, it is not possible.
You can only disable that button.

From what I remember reading on this forum when then the new design style was introduce by Google and implemented in Aquamail (1+ years ago), Google stipulated that there should be one floating "action" button for the most used action. And the most logical candidate for that in e-mail program is "compose new mail".

In addition to @StR's response you can "Mark all read" as follows:
-> Long press on the relevant <Folder name> -> tap on "Mark all read"

You will discover some other nice options if you (long... ) tap on a specific folder like:

-> Long press on <Spam> or <Junk> = "Delete all"
-> Long press on <Deleted folder> = "Delete all"
