Title: Sending email causes music to be played in the background
Post by: wongckel on August 26, 2016, 07:04:35 am
Using version 1.6.2.9, every time an email is sent, music (probably from my mp3 library) starts playing in the background although a specific notification tone had been configured in settings. There's no way to stop the music other than resetting the phone (using a Samsung Note 5).

Send notifications under Special settings was checked and un-checking it solve the issue

not sure why it's so but thanks for the solution

Just means you'd previously set a send notification, with music -- and fireworks, I guess? -- for this account only ("special" settings).

The default settings are: no "special" (per-account) settings of any kind, and no sounds, for receiving or sending mail.
