Title: How can I reset image download settings?
Post by: cjs87 on July 13, 2016, 05:30:43 pm: I recently changed linked images download settings for WiFi and mobile data, now when I open an email it downloads images but stops at the 25 kB limit I have set on mobile data. How do I change settings such as download from known contacts, auto download on WiFi alone and always ask for mobile data?

Also, is there a reset button to restore ALL the configs to its original factory state?

thank you for replying. i am aware how to get to the preload menu. what i am interested in knowing is, previously, when i opened an email, i'd press download images, and then i'd get option to add sender's email address to known list. and then there was gear symbol next to it where i was able to set download images over WiFi or mobile data. how do i get that option back?

The preload settings -- please long press the account -> options and folders -> preload

The saved addresses -- app settings -> message view -> reset the known list (at the end)

The prompting for "externally linked images" at all -- app settings -> message view -> "spam control of linked images".

Finally, the "download images over mobile or WiFi" -- app settings -> network.
