Before I updated to the latest today (24th July 2016) when I received emails with signatures that contained images, some of them did not load but just clicking on "load images" would load them and display the message correctly. Now that does not happen. I have set the account to load everything when receiving and viewing wifi and no-wifi. And nothing. I receive a horrible text that shows the link long text version of links instead of a rich text content.
I have setup everything as before but it just wont work as previously.

Are those images embedded or linked (i.e. downloaded from an external website)?
Also, if you were to see that e-mail in the web-interface (or desktop client), do you see these images?
-
If there is a "show images" panel -- those are linked images.
Would it be possible to forward a sample (as an attached .eml file, can be done in Outlook if you use it) to me? kmansoft / gmail / dot com?

Those images are embedded. They come from an Outlook email signature.

I have email Lord@domainA and Devil@domainB
From outlook 2007 I send an email from Lord@domainA to both Lord@domainA and Devil@domainB.
From my Samsung mobile I verify both emails A and B.
On Devil@domainB I can see the embedded image on the signature and text with links perfectly.
On Lord@domainA I get an "attachment" icon for the image, and the full link addresses (not just the nice linked text). And even if I click on download images ... I never get to see the signature as it should be.
Now from outlook 2007 I use a different Saint@domain-C to send the emails from, and repeat the experiment. I get the same results.
Now from my Samsung mobile I forward (the email I received previously correctly) from Devil@domainB to Lord@domainA.
THIS TIME ... Lord@domainA (within Samsung) shows the graphics and linked texts perfectly. And I dont get the "attachment" icon on the email.
I have deleted the Lord@domainA account in my Aquamail in my Samsung mobile ... created it again. But it keeps failing.
The curious thing is that I have Lady@domain-A in my Samsung, and this one receives correctly the graphcis and links in the signature.
I am totally puzzled and frustrated.

I think your Outlook for Windows is configured to send messages in TNEF format (also known as WINMAIL.DAT).
There is a "default for all addresses" setting, and a per-address setting (in Outlook's address book).
My guess is that for the "bad" address, the setting is ON, that is, "send messages in TNEF format not standard Internet Mail format".
Please turn that abomination off, hope the below link helps:

Solved by clearing the cache of Outlook since the Outlook settings were already ok.
