Title: Solved: Scheduled mail stop working after switching Moto E to Huawei p8 lite

Hi all,

first of all, Aquamail is really great! I can't survive without. Two weeks ago I broke the glass of my Moto E (Lollipop 5.0.1) and instead of buying another Moto (maybe Moto g) I was actracted by Huawey P8 lite (very low price).

Aftwer switching phone and re-installing Aquamail I notice that, notification  sounds and scheduled mails are working in different way, or not woking at all

for example this scheduled alarm has never arrived

That's the problem, exactly.

How can an app work -- if Android doesn't do what it's supposed to do?

As far as I know, Huawei phones have some sort of "battery optimizer" built-in.

I found it! under power saving I have to add aquamail to protected app
