Title: Misformatted email
Post by: Davey126 on June 21, 2016, 04:03:48 pm
I have an example of an email that does not display correctly in Aqua. Original contained a large commercial graphic which I forwarded with a one line text prefix. When I view the item in my 'sent' mail the text portion of the forwarded email does not render. Displays fine in native Google properties (eg: Gmail app). The scenario is repeatable. Aqua 1.6.2.5.

This is not a priority item for me but thought the developer might want to take a look. Not sure how to preserve the item is it will be further altered if forwarded to a support email box. Perhaps there is a way to extract the raw content ...

Was it an attachment? An embedded image?

An imbedded 'image' (graphic is probably a better descriptor) with clickable links within. Nothing sensitive; I can forward if beneficial. Believe I have your address from a previous engagement.

Yes please forward as an .eml attachment, so I get the exact original.

Can be done with desktop mail apps and sometimes web mail -- or in Gmail web mail you can "show original" (next to the reply icon), save to a plain text file, and send that.
