I rarely read Play Store reviews as most lack depth (which is being generous) but did so today as the 1.6.2.1 update was offered before I manually applied. So many uninformed, critical comments that border on abusive. How do you stand it? I suppose a thick skin comes with the territory but it has to be discouraging at times. Sad what many Netizens have devolved into. Poo flingers satisfied with their permanent station in Darwin's waiting room.

Sometimes I feel netizens reviewing on play store or rather abusing are being paid to do it. Granted no app is perfect ( and I am not talking about just email apps here) but aquamail is by streets the best email app out there. Also I will concede that on occasion cloud based apps are faster on the uptake but the security, customisation, options and reliability aqua
offers are unmatched.

Re: So many uninformed, critical comments that border on abusive. How do you stand it?
Simple. I don't read Play comments, don't even want to know what's there, for precisely this reason.
Or putting it differently:
I don't consider Play comments a venue of "feedback to developer" or "support hotline" (for several reasons).
I view it as a place for people to "vent" and hopefully also share their positive experiences if any.
And the types who aren't looking for help and just want to vent or complain -- just want to vent or complain and aren't looking for help, so there is very little I can do.

For the "Undo Delete" under POP3, can you confirm that the undo option appears for ~1s then the message is permanently deleted. is that correct?
For POP3 it would be nice to have the option to delete from the server but also copied deleted messages to local storage. I had hoped the Undo option would allow this but it doesnt look like it
thanks

Re: appears for ~1s
It's two seconds if there is no user action, and one second if you scroll the list.
Re: the Undo option would allow this but it doesnt look like it
Undo is strictly "undo", does not change "what" or "how" of what is being undone.
Re: delete from the server but also copied deleted messages to local storage
I really don't like this idea, it has non-obvious consequences.
The more you think in terms of "a mail app is a window into the data on the mail server, the latter is the reference state" the better everything will work.

My service provider had originally only offered POP3 and so Ive always used that.... however you made me go back and check and they offer either POP or IMAP so I have switched to IMAP now. Problem solved! Thanks :)
