Kostya,
A few months ago, in response to a user, you've implemented a helpful feature: indexing by the first letter in "other folders" view.
I recently realized that it is not working the same way when in "manage folders".
The rational is exactly the same: to help navigating to the right place in a very long list of folders.
I wonder if it is due to a technical difficulty (difference) of implementing it there, or just an accidental omission?

The "manage folders" screen is hierarchical, not necessarily alphabetical.
How do you index:
Inbox
Agreements
Conditions
Warranties
Sales
Receipts

Other folders - are hierarchical too. You've done indexing by the first letter of the first level.
No difference here. Same sh list.

OK, done, look for it in -dev4.5

The funny part is that your first reaction the previous time was exactly the same ( about hierarchy) , and then the same surprise about the 1st-letter solution.
Thanks! It might move me from the specially snapshot I've been holding to (with the 1-letter address search).

And exactly same list of "example" folders? :)

I don't remember, I wasn't the one who asked originally.
