I am re-establishing my setup after a factory reset on a Galaxy Note 4. One of my client Exchange accounts needs manual setup because my email address is different from the server hostname. This was not a problem before, but now when I enter the EWS server name and set 443 for the port, I get an error that it failed to connect with HTTP 1.1
Why is it not using HTTPS as instructed? Is there a way to force it to use HTTPS instead of HTTP?
I know the account details are correct because I am using them in my laptop (Thunderbird) and I also took a note of them from in AquaMail this morning before the factory reset.

What makes you think it's not using HTTPS?
Did you select "SSL" in the "security" setting?
If it's failing (and I prefer seeing more complete error messages, please) -- maybe your server uses a self-signed cert, and needs a "SSL (accept all)"?

This is not "same problem" at all.
There are different ways to connect to Exchange.
Please ask your company's "computer people" if:
- Your Exchange server supports Exchange Web Services (EWS)
- And what the right server settings are
I *think* they will find that they'd accidentally blocked EWS (hence the "403 Forbidden").
