I could be hallucinating, it's been happening more and more of late.
I swear that in the past, I could send an email to a group contact by just starting to type in the name of the group in the "to" field; I cleverly start all my groups with g.
Lately, however, this doesn't seem to work. I can still send to a group by clicking on the little + icon to the left of 2, then on groups, etc., but I thought I remembered that I used to just type "gprmycontacts," and by the time I hit the "r", I could select the group.
I've tried various different settings (system/built-in contact picker, confirm, etc. to no avail).
If I'm remembering incorrectly, please be gentle.
FTR, I use NO other email clients as AquaMail is hands down the best I've ever tried on Android.
TIA.

I'm not aware of any way this could be possible before or is possible now.
Um, maybe this was due to lack of validation of the recipient list (a big omission, fixed a month or so ago).
