Hi,
this is most likely not caused by AquaMail, but maybe somebody here has an idea where I can try to find the cause ...
I'm running CM13 on my S5 ... ever since I've switched from 12.1 (5.1.1) to 13, I've had problems receiving or sending mail over mobile networks - while other stuff like maps data, web pages etc. work fine. I've even tried setting up a packet sniffer ("Packet Capture" app from the play store), but while other apps show up fine transferring data, AquaMail is listed with 0 bytes transferred ... I have DroidWall on my device, but apart from a few apps, none are blocked. I even tried a factory reset, and without anything else installed I put Aqua Mail back on the device, and still couldn't get any data through over mobile.
Any ideas anybody???

Has to be something about the ROM you're using.
There is nothing magical about Aqua's networking code -- it's just Java sockets, the official Android API.
Would be best to open a bug report with CM.

Was finally able to locate the reason for the misbehavior - it seems like with the Marshmallow update, additional APNs seem to have been added ... interestingly, the system automagically selected the WAP APN, instead of the full-feature one ... after switching to the "normal" APN, everything is working again as it should ...

Re: WAP APN
Yep, seen this myself (on an iPhone) and there have been cases with other AquaMail users (on Android, naturally).
