Title: How to really select all messages in (inbox) folder?
Post by: pstein on March 19, 2016, 04:42:34 pm
Assume I open the Inbox of one of my accounts with 23 messages in it.

Now I tap on the 3-dots menu in the upper-right and select "Select all" then only the currently visible messages are selected =7 (!)
How do I selected really all 23 messages?

Peter

There is an option in settings "select all" : all on the screen, or ALL.
You can search this forum for details.

That FAQ is weird, it has a lot of F'-y A'-d Q's :)

Haven't seen an "LMGTFY" link in a few years :)

To be honest, being able to easy mark all my messages read at once was the main reason I went with AM over the stock Android Mail app.  Since then, I've learned to enjoy all the other great features.

And there is a "delete all" (for Trash and Spam) too :)
