Title: Maximum # of simultaneous connections .... How to change
Post by: kromedome42303 on March 18, 2016, 10:43:21 pm
I have four email accounts configured. I've noticed when I check mail, it checks three of them first and then checks the fourth when the first three have completed. I assume this is a configurable setting either within Aquamail or perhaps Android.

How can I change this so it will check all four simultaneously?

On Android 4 it's two, on 5.0+ it's three.

Has to do with performance, trying to not bog down the CPU and especially the disk I/O.

Thank you. So, it's hard coded and can't be changed?

Yes, just like many other "implementation details".

For example, the number of threads used by background database loaders.
