Title: Export (account) settings into a file (for later restore)?
Post by: pstein on February 23, 2016, 08:05:41 pm
Is it possible to export/save all current AquaMail settings (including Account setups) into a local file
(and to restore them later or on another SmartPhone?

Ok, thank you.

Two more related questions:

1.) Assume I have previously saved a backup onto Google Drive and another on the local storage.

Now when I want to do a Restore how can I tell AquaMail which of the two backups should be taken for restore?

I miss a checkbox (similar to Backup) "copy from Google Drive".

When NOT checked the local source folder should be taken

2.) Assume I want to setup AquaMail App on another, second, new SmartPhone.

Can I take the old backup from SmartPhone 1, copy it to new SmartPhone 2 and do a Restore over there (in order to get all existing AquaMail settings)?

Or are Backups only valid for the SmartPhone on which they are originally created?
