I receive various PDF attachments from my school and AquaMail (chromebook version) cannot open them. I get the error, "no application found to open the attachment" despite various extensions I've installed. I always have to go back to my regular gmail app to open any attachments. Any idea how to enable the opening of these files on AquaMail?

Ah, the Chrome OS version.
This is AquaMail running inside Android (this part is provided by me) and this Android is running inside Chrome OS (this part is provided by Google).
So yes, there can be some rough edges and downright bugs in this "emulated" Android environment.
Please try "three dots" next to the attachment and choose "Save and open", maybe it'll work better (depending on what app on your Chromebook actually handles PDFs).

Yes I tried a variety of PDF apps, clicked on the three dots, still to no avail. When will Aquamail remedy this issue? This is a major feature issue with this app and it needs to be fixed.

I responded in detail in your other thread (forum post).
