+ Message compose screen, contacts auto-completion now triggers after 1 character not two (Android 4.4+).

+ Same, added address validation before sending (that the entered addresses are well formed).

Since -dev3: a fair amount of work in contact handling code, having to do with images in message lists (among other things)

+ Экран написания сообщения, авто-дополнение контактов срабтывает теперь после 1 буквы а не 2-х (4.4+).

+ Там же, проверка формальной правильности введённых адресов перед отправкой.

С версии -dev3: изменения в коде работы с Контактами, скажем картинки в списках сообщений (и не только).

I am almost sorry to say it Kostya...but the problems of NOT showing contact pics and the white empty screens are back....on dev4.4

And you still have "ignore case" OFF?

Please:

- Capture the issue in the app's debug log:

After enabling the log, "force stop" the app in system settings -> apps

- If you can, please try K9 Mail, to see how fast/slow it loads image contacts in its message list

This is to establish a "baseline" for comparison.

Please note that K9 Mail shows a "color letter" while loading a contact image (while AquaMail shows nothing).
