Title: Don't remove the "unread"-status at IMAP server
Post by: Scanda on February 01, 2016, 03:07:49 pm
Hi,

i'm using Aquamail Pro with several Google Accounts (IMAP).
When i read a mail with aquamail on my mobile device it removes the "unread"-status of the Mail. Also at the IMAP-server, too.
Is there any options, that it only become "read" at my device and not at the IMAP server?

This seems contradictory to the way IMAP is supposed to work (everything in sync everywhere). You might consider changing the 'Mark messages as read' flag in message view settings if you are just previewing items in Aquamail for later processing in a different client.

Yes, I understand there a few (really, a few) users who want this -- but two way sync for read/unread/starred in IMAP (and Exchange) is a feature not a bug. To me this is working as intended.
