I have AquaMail installed both my android phone and android tablet.
When I swipe (using my phone) to delete on my work's pop3 email account it deletes it from the server.
When I swipe (using my tablet) to delete on the same account it does not delete it from the server.
I have checked every general and account specific setting side by side and I cannot find any difference between the two. I even backed up the tablets account and settings, deleted the account from my phone and restored using the tablet's backup but the problem persists.
The "hide in the app, keep on the server" is selected on both devices.
I've been at this for a couple hours now and am out of ideas so I came here for help.
Any suggestions? Thanks

Please check, if the option "Hide in the app, keep on the server" is selected also in the account settings:
> long press on Account name (in account list view) > Options and folders > Account options > Deleting messages > choose the third option "Hide in the app, keep on the server"

In addition to that, please have a look into the app's FAQ-Site:
http://www.aqua-mail.com/?page_id=227
Search for:
"What are the options for deleting messages? "
> the 2nd item
and
"How can I delete messages in AquaMail without deleting them from the server?"
> the 3rd item
Maybe these information could be also helpful.

Thanks for the suggestions. I had already tried them but went again to verify the settings and that I have checked the two items in faq.

I recommend to catch this issue in a debug log and send the log file to the developer as described here:

> "Creating a log if something doesn’t work right"

When I swipe (using my phone) to delete on my work's pop3 email account it deletes it from the server.
When I swipe (using my tablet) to delete on the same account it does not delete it from the server.
Please check your swipe actions (in app settings -> swiping).
It's conceivable that on the one device, you've got "delete (account's delete setting)" and on the other something like "delete immediately" or "move to deleted".
